What I will tell you is that people have been asking us for a fusil de chasse for years, and we didn't want to do it until we were able to come up with a correct design. Most of the fusil de chasse guns I've seen out there aren't quite right historically. They tend to have a mix of de chasse and fusil fin features. We wanted to do it right, so we chose an early French trade gun design. This gun will be correct for portrayals as early as the 1690's.
